Bebaroque

Active The bebaroque label was started in July 2007 by Mhairi McNicol and Chloe Patience. Both designers completed their BA(hons) in Textiles at the Glasgow School of Art in 2005 and then went off separately to gain Master degrees in Textiles and Fashion. Chloe moving on to the Edinburgh College of Art, whilst Mhairi remaining at the GSA.Both Chloe and Mhairi separately began designing leg wear and decided to join forces, creating something very special and unique to the market. With Mhairi's elaborate hand embroidery and Chloe's intricate drawing skills upon hosiery, a truly innovative design process was developed.With help along the way from agencies such as the Business Gateway, The Princes Trust and full support from the prestigious NESTA programme, bebaroque has quickly developed as a trading company selling in well known and desirable stockists all over the world.bebaroque products are both designed and manufactured in bonnie Scotland by Chloe and Mhairi using hand embroidery and print.
