DuParc

Active V Bonneterie Bosteels-De Smeth was founded in 1880 by the Bosteels and De Smeth couple. The originally Belgian company started manufacturing knitted gloves. In the 1950s, the company made a major breakthrough in the field of women's stockings, under the name du Parc. The name was a reference to the city park that was located near the factory. The fine, yet very strong stockings were made with the latest techniques. The factory later followed with the production of tights and became the market leader in tights, stockings and socks. DuParc has been part of Nedac Fashion since 2001.
